Founded 40 years ago, Beechcroft has become one of the UK’s leading specialist developers building high quality homes in some of the most attractive towns and villages in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Middlesex, Gloucestershire and Kent.

In the beginning, we set out to create outstanding homes for people over the age of 55 but more than 20 years ago, we created our Special Projects Division in respond to a growing demand from people under the age of 55 for the elegant, high-quality properties on peaceful developments created on our retirement developments.  In recent years, we have expanded our operations to provide open market homes, available to all homeowners. 

Our founding principles remain unchanged.  We choose our locations with care ensuring that there are shops, restaurants and good transport links on hand.  We design homes that provide generously proportioned, light filled living spaces, we build and finish them with care and install the highest quality fixtures and fittings.  All our new and converted homes feature bespoke kitchens fitted with a full range of appliances, bathrooms and en-suites include vanity units and fitted mirrors and each home comes complete with flooring, including carpeting.   We are committed to creating homes that are energy-efficient, designed to save the costs of energy bills and to reduce carbon emissions that affect our natural world.

We pay careful attention to the landscaping of each and every development.  The landscaping is an integral part of the initial design rather than an afterthought and planting is designed to mature, provide year-round colour and interest and to attract insect life.
